Three services. Each one focused on what a production actually needs.
Cost tracking during the shoot, accurate crew payroll each week, and a clean final report at wrap. Scoped to your production, delivered without fuss.
← Back to homeFocused where it matters
Production accounting covers a lot of ground. Rather than offering a generic full-service package and hoping it fits, we've built three distinct services around the tasks that tend to create the most pressure during a production: keeping track of spend, getting crew paid, and closing out properly at wrap.
Each service is scoped to the production's actual size and structure. You can engage any one of them on its own, or all three together — whatever makes sense for where you are in the process.
Production Cost Tracking
Careful tracking of spend against budget across departments, with clear cost reports the production team can rely on. Suited to film, TV, and content productions that want a steady handle on the money during a busy schedule.
During a shoot the budget is never static — departments spend, adjustments happen, priorities shift. This service keeps an accurate, up-to-date picture of where things stand so the line producer can make decisions with current information, not numbers from last week.
What's included
- Department-by-department budget tracking from pre-production through to wrap
- Regular cost reports in production format — actuals against budget, by department
- Petty cash and department float reconciliation
- Purchase order and invoice processing and recording
- Direct communication with the line producer throughout the shoot
From 1,500 USD / production
Quoted on scope — typical range 1,500–8,000 USD
Payroll & Crew Payments
Accurate handling of crew payments and related records during a production, kept tidy and on schedule. Designed for productions that want this sensitive area managed correctly and calmly.
Crew payroll is one of those areas where getting it wrong has immediate consequences — for relationships on set, for the production's reputation, and for the records that need to hold up later. This service takes that weight off the production's plate and handles it with the care it deserves.
What's included
- Weekly crew payment processing aligned to the production schedule
- Deal memo review and payment cross-referencing
- Timesheet collation and records maintenance
- Payment confirmation and documentation kept accessible throughout
- Handling of payroll queries promptly and without unnecessary back-and-forth
12 USD / crew member / week
Calculated on active crew count each week
Wrap & Final Cost Reporting
Preparation of final cost reports and tidy records at wrap, presented clearly for producers and financiers. We bring everything into order so the close-out is calm and well-documented.
Wrap is when the pressure of the shoot gives way to a different kind of pressure — the need to close everything out correctly, account for every line of the budget, and produce documentation that will hold up to scrutiny. This service exists to make that process straightforward rather than stressful.
What's included
- Complete final cost report in production format — by department, actuals vs budget
- Reconciliation of all department spend against the approved budget
- Organisation of supporting records and documentation for archiving or audit
- Clear variance notes explaining differences between budget and actual spend
- Delivery in a format ready to share with producers, financiers, or distributors
1,400 USD
Fixed fee for final wrap cost report preparation
Using more than one service
The three services are designed to complement each other. Productions that engage all three get a consistent financial process from first day of prep through to final close-out — with the same team handling cost tracking, payroll, and the wrap report.
Cost Tracking alone
Good for productions that have payroll managed internally but want clear, regular cost reports during the shoot.
Payroll alone
For productions with their own cost tracking but looking to take the weekly payroll burden off their internal team.
All three together
The most seamless option — one team handling the full financial picture, with records maintained throughout and ready for wrap.
Starting is straightforward
No lengthy forms or formal tender process. Tell us about the production and we'll come back with a clear picture of what would suit it and what it would cost.
